Comprised of vocalist Jayy Mannon, guitarist Kevin Hug, bassist Scott Stanley, and drummer Nick DeNofa, Familiar 48 traces its roots back to the clubs of Philadelphia where their constant gigging, passionate songwriting, and local radio airplay helped build a loyal regional following. Musically, the band falls in the vein of such melodic rock acts as Lifehouse or 3 Doors Down with their everday themes, catchy pop choruses, and driving guitars. Produced by the legendary Don Gehman, this debut album is a dark and reflective look at the beginnings and endings of relationships. The band's debut release is set at April 9, 2002 with the smash hit "The Question" being the first song out of the box.
